Synopsis:

Mark and Kate have sat next to each other for an entire year, but their paths outside of class have never crossed.

That is, until Kate spots Mark miles away from home, out in the city for a wild, unexpected night. Kate is lost, having just run away from a chance to finally meet the girl has been in love with from afar. Mark, meanwhile, is in love with his best friend, Ryan, who may or may not feel the same way.

When Kate and Mark meet up, little do they know how important they will become to each other – and how, in a very short time, they will know each other better than any of the people who are supposed to know them more.

Review:

First, I would start on how the story was told. The story was told by the two main characters Mark and Kate which I believe very effective to make the readers understand well what kind of characters they are.

This book is about possibilities in everything we have relationships with friends, dreams and many more. How much can we take for the sake of love and friendship. This book will make you realize about many things, relate with the characters and all the challenges they have gone through.

Prepare yourself to be drown by Marks sad life and how long can he hold on with his best friend which for long he have loved ever since. And Kate, as she fight for what she is.

The whole concept of the book is very seasonal which perfectly fit the kind of community we have now… a different kind of novel about LGBTQ+ (which we all know Levithan is a genius when writing a different flavor of novels). I have read some of the books of David before so far I never felt bored nor dissatisfied about them and to Nina, I’m looking forward to read more of her books. Until know I just can’t stop thinking about the ending (no spoilers so just purchase the book and read it at your own risk).

Read this book and find yourself and true happiness for the people around you… an epic read from amazing authors.. if you are planning to read the book prepare yourselves on asking for more…
